Cancellation Policy for Portside Hotel Limited

Cancellation Period
Guests can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 48 hours prior to the check-in date. If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of the check-in date or in case of a no-show, the following charges will apply:

Cancellation Charges
If the reservation is cancelled before 48 hours of the check-in date, no charges will apply. If the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of the check-in date, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged. In the case of a no-show or if the guest fails to arrive on the check-in date, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.

Early Departure
In the event of early departure, guests will be charged for the full reservation's remaining nights, as originally booked.

Modification Policy
Any modifications to the reservation within 48 hours of the check-in date are subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee the availability of the same room type or rate.

Group Bookings
For group bookings more than 3 rooms, different cancellation and deposit policies may apply. Please contact us directly to discuss group reservations.

Deposit and Prepayment
We may require a non-refundable deposit or prepayment to secure the reservation.

Refunds
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 3 business days after the cancellation date and will be subject to the cancellation policy terms.

Force Majeure
In case of events beyond the guest's or hotel's control, such as natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances, the cancellation policy may be waived or modified at the hotel's discretion.

Compliance with New Zealand Law
This cancellation policy is in accordance with New Zealand law and regulations governing accommodation providers.
